The Meridian Chiropractic Clinic is conveniently located in the centre of Bury. Just two minutes walk from the Bury Interchange and the central shopping area, it is easily accessible from Whitefield, Prestwich, Radcliffe, Ramsbottom, Rawtenstall, Heywood and Rochdale.
The clinic, originally on Bank Street, was started in 1997 by Caroline Shanks B.Sc. (chiro) to provide professional chiropractic care for the Bury area.

If you wish to book an appointment, or if you have any questions regarding chiropractic treatment or it's suitability for you, telephone Lynn, our receptionist, on 0161 763 1700 or call into the clinic during our opening hours. Please understand that it is not always possible to speak to the chiropractor straight away as most of her time is spent in the treatment room, though she will be pleased to return your call at the earliest opportunity.

A telephone answering machine is used outside of our normal hours. Should you wish to leave your name and telephone number and a short reason for your enquiry, we will call you back as soon as the clinic re-opens.

We hope you appreciate that the chiropractor cannot give any form of diagnosis or specific advice regarding complaints through any medium other than a personal consultation and examination.

Most healthcare plans, such as HSA and Medicash, will cover all or part of the cost of a course of chiropractic treatment. Usually you will pay the clinic after each treatment and we will provide you with a receipt or receipts to include with your claim form for reimbursement.
If you are covered by BUPA or PPP, Caroline is registered with both of these schemes as a chiropractic specialist. Her BUPA registration number is 30021685 and her PPP number is CS02376. Quoting these to your provider prior to consultation will ease the administrative process.
