Introducing Bury Chiropractors Alicia Leontieff & Wendy Davis
Alicia injured her back at the age of 12 and was taken to see her local Chiropractor. She has never forgotten this day nor the Chiropractor who helped her back to health. It was here that she experienced first hand what relief the treatment could provide and how much better it made her feel. Seeing what a difference she could make to other peoples lives spurred Alicia on to make Chiropractic her vocation.
Wendy's first experience of Chiropractic came at the tender age of 6 years old, when she went with her Mum to see her Chiropractor in Durban, South Africa. Although too young to appreciate the importance of that day it did plant the early seeds which would germinate in Wendy graduating with a degree in Chiropractic. And her Mum? Well she still benefits from Chiropractic care to this day.
Alicia trained at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic (WIOC) and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree. She has been in private practice ever since.
At college she was fascinated by the nervous system and learning about the huge role it plays in controlling everything we do from walking and moving around to controlling organ function.
Wendy also graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in 2002 from the WIOC. A love of rugby and of Cradiff's bustling city made those years just fly by.
It was here that Wendy discovered her enthusiasm for helping people not just out of pain but back to health. She learned that by combining certain exercises with Chiropractic adjustments you could achieve amazing results.
Our aim is to help as many people as we can, no problem is too big or too small. We thrive on challenges and enjoy solving those problems which have been symptomatic for many years. We are dedicated to getting people well and keeping them that way.
You may join the practice as a patient but we would like to think you soon become a friend.
Alicia enjoys renovating her newly bought house but is looking forward to the day when it is done and when she can spend more time with her nephew and recently born niece. I'm sure her partner-James agrees too.
Wendy has just started a pottery course and wonders whether she'll produce anything good enough to display in the practice.
We both receive Chiropractic care on a regular basis ensuring our spine and nervous systems remain functioning to the best of their capability. Enjoying a healthy lifestyle including exercise and healthy eating means we are always on top form to help you and our families! We believe that taking pain medication can only serve to mask the symptoms and does not really get to the root cause of the problem.
Enough about us! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health.
