Leone’s story

Leone studied at the University of Derby, Buxton and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree.

When entering University to study a joint honours degree in Sports Massage, Exercise Therapies and Sports Development, Leone had little experience in this field but flourished early on. She will never forget the personal rewards of helping individuals recover from injury and the gratitude she received.

Leone found it inspiring helping others and knew then, straight away that this was where she belonged.

Working at Bury Chiropractic Centre, alongside Wendy and Alicia, who have the same drives and passion in helping others to recover and maintain their health, helped Leone gain confidence in fulfilling her own goals. Experiencing the positive changes you can make to somebody else’s life, inspired Leone to spend time volunteering for massage events, including marathons and local sports clubs helping a variety of people.

“I always make it my challenge to learn at least one new thing everyday, they say choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life, I enjoy bringing out the best in other people and health is the greatest gift you can give; be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.”

Tom’s story

Massage Therapist, Tom

I started my journey as a massage therapist 7 years ago at South Trafford College. It was here that I discovered my passion for anatomy, physiology, and the industry.
On successful completion of my level 3 Diploma in Sports Therapy, I obtained a level 5 Advanced Diploma, where I further refined my skills as a massage therapist.

I enjoy helping people and being part of the rehabilitation process. It is for this reason that I love being part of the Bury Chiropractic team.

I love meeting new people and am really looking forward to help aiding in your recovery.
Here at the Bury Chiropractic Centre, I find all the team members to have a relaxed but professional approach to help you on the road to success which I find extremely refreshing and important in the healing process.

During my free time I love bike riding, listening to music, gaming, going to the gym, sailing and have recently taken up golf. My main goals in the future, in relation to these pastimes is to become a proficient golfer and to launch our family’s boat in Fleetwood.
