Welcome Desk Team

Liz’s Story

Everything changed for me in November 2015. After 11 years in the motor industry I was made redundant, as it turned out it was the best thing that could happen to me.

When I went for the interview with Kay I was very nervous as I hadn’t interviewed for so long and didn’t know what to expect. However as soon as I walked in everybody made me feel welcomed and I knew instantly it was where I wanted to be.

I myself have M.E and so have always been a big believer in the complimentary medicines and techniques and so this role has enabled me to grow in knowledge.

Part of what I love about belonging to this family is watching our guests travel through their voyage and seeing how adjustments help them build, what is sometimes a new life, free of pain.

I am also a wife and mother to 2 beautiful children, Hannah and Max. When I’m not here at the centre I am at home enjoying family time. I also enjoy reading and walking the dog (although not in the rain).

I look forward to growing with the team and getting to know all our guests.

Jo’s Story

Hi, my name is Jo. I am 26 and I joined the Bury Chiro team at the beginning of May 2016. When I first started I was quiet, nervous and not very confident of myself. The team helped build my confidence which I am very grateful for. I am now growing in confidence every day. I love working here at Bury Chiro as we work so well together.

I have a bubbly personality, am friendly and approach life with a smile on my face. I have 3 children, Daughters Aaliyah 5 and Arissa 2 and a Son Haris who is 1. When I am not in here I enjoy family time at home, keeping myself fit because I love exercising. I also love to read. My favourite Is Harry Potter.

My love of all animals lead me to study horse and dog psychology and animal management.

I had suffered from sciatica since having my first child and also had bad neck pain, I was just putting up with it. When I first started having chiropractic care myself I was really nervous but Sean made me feel at ease. I am finding my adjustments very helpful and I am very grateful to Sean for helping me.

I am passionate about my job and about chiropractic. I do think it is vital to take care of your spine as it supports you. It is so rewarding to see how chiropractic has helped our guests. I will always do my best to make sure that your visit is as relaxed as possible. Together as a team, we work hard to make our guests’ whole experience with us a positive as possible and I look forward to playing my part in helping you on your voyage with us.

Nichole’s story

When I applied for the role and received my email from Pat asking me to attend the interview I didn’t know what to expect. But from the moment I walked into the centre, I knew it to be the place I belonged! I just got that feeling. I knew I would fit in perfectly. I knew I had the same enthusiasm, attitude and caring nature that my fellow team mates had. When Alicia and Wendy got in touch with me, offering me this role I was over the moon! I genuinely love every moment I am here at the centre, it feels like this role was meant for me.

When I am not at the centre, I spend time with my family. We love to bake, read, go swimming, go on long walks in the woods and going to the cinema. Summer holidays are our favourite thing!

Jade’s Story

My Journey with Bury Chiropractic has been a refreshing and enlightening experience from the very start. I joined the CA team in November 2016, after being in the beauty and fragrance industry for a number of years, and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment so far.

It makes me extremely proud to be a part of such a wonderful and friendly team that take care of so many people, our guests often come to us in pain and discomfort and to be able to help them is a very satisfying feeling.

When I am not here, I enjoy spending quality time with my fiancé and our two beautiful daughters, we visit family and friends often and take lots of trips out. I also enjoy reading, baking and creative arts!

Helen’s Story

Portrait of Helen, Bury Chiropractic

I have worked in Customer Service for the last 18 years, after taking voluntary redundancy at the end of 2015 I took a year off. When I applied for the role of Chiropractic Assistant I wanted to work in a friendly environment for a company that not only helps people but makes them feel great. After being successful in my application, I joined the team in December 2016.

I love speaking to our guests and helping them discover a new lease of life. Bury Chiropractic is such a friendly, relaxed place to work, the layout of the centre and atmosphere helps our guests on their voyage to better health. I enjoy learning about Chiropractic care and its many health benefits, and have started a course of treatment myself.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, family and friends. I enjoy cooking and walking, especially by the sea side as I love the fresh sea air.
