Exercise In A Bottle

bottleWouldn’t that be nice if we could get exercise in a bottle?
I can hear you all saying “oh yes!!!!”

Unfortunately, exercise does not come in a bottle and we need to get up, get out and start moving. And I would like to bring into everyone’s attention “why is physical fitness is important” and “what can we do to stay active”?

Physical activity or exercise can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases. Physical activity and exercise can have immediate and long-term health benefits. Most importantly, regular activity can improve your quality of life. A minimum of 30 minutes a day can allow you to enjoy these benefits. It may help you with managing your weight, lower your cholesterol level, have stronger bones, muscles and joints. And many more benefits…

A number of studies have found that exercise helps with depression. Exercise may block the negative thoughts or distract you from daily worries, exercising with others provides an opportunity for increased social contact, increased fitness may lift your mood and help with your sleeping patterns. Exercise may also change the level of chemicals in your body such as serotonin, endorphins and stress hormones.

All You Need Is 30 MINUTES A DAY!

rocksTo maintain health and reduce your risk of health problems, health professionals and researches recommended a minimum of 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity.

Doing any physical activity is better than doing none. If you currently don’t do any physical activity, start by doing some, and gradually build up to the recommended amount. Increases in daily activity can come from small changes made throughout your day, such as walking or cycling instead of using your car, getting the tram, etc…

Let’s talk about Cardio

Why Cardio?
Cardio exercise is one of, what I would call the three main tenets of training, alongside resistance and mobility. Without any of these, your body will naturally atrophy, decreasing in efficiency. Like resistance and mobility training, cardio offers a range of benefits and should be built into your routine every week. By increasing the efficiency of your body by performing strenuous activity, cardio works to improve your entire aerobic system. This means that the more moderate to intense cardio exercise you perform, the fitter you will become.

You can do moderate pace running, walking, swimming, cycling, can use kettlebells, or jumping rope during cardio training.

Maximizing Exercise Results with Chiropractic Care!

If you are going to take the time to exercise, then you probably want to get the most out of the time you are in the gym. People are always looking for new and improved ways to get fit, stay fit, and make the most of their time. One way that people are finding to be beneficial for getting the most out of their fitness routine is through chiropractic care.

Chiropractic care can be an excellent way to reduce many causes of musculoskeletal pain.

Chiropractors are often able to align your spine properly through spinal adjustments. When the spine is out of alignment, it can cause pain in the body. After a workout, Chiropractic care can also help to minimise soreness and get you feeling good again. This means that you will be able to get back at it more quickly and stay at it with a decreased chance of injury or pain.

frogsPerhaps this is why we are seeing many more sports professionals having Chiropractic care as part of the course. Chiropractic care also can help to increase your range of motion. When you are free of pain you can move more freely and without restriction. People tell us that sometimes they notice a huge improvement after one appointment and some need a few. Some tell us that with ongoing care, they notice their flexibility to increase slowly and steadily over time. Keeping the body properly aligned gives it more opportunity to work and act the way it is supposed to. When your back is aligned, it takes stress and extra work off surrounding bones, muscles, and joints.
